Taken From Time

Feeling ever so weakened,
a need arising to seize,
the me that once was there before
the dark began its tease.

A trip now in the offing,
beyond the anchored ground.
Taken from time, my life in route,
in need of comfort bound.

Messages inside my head,
conflict in silent hold.
Contest now is over,
in battle, lost my soul.

No words could ever rest in peace
the struggle from within.
Removal of the mind and heart,
only miles away to win.

To capture once that part of me
naive, from sin, desires,
And build upon the newness then,
until my dark expires.

When light begins its reaching out
to hold and guide me straight,
'Til next time when I'm taken in,
no falsehoods to translate.

My life in keep will then release,
the door will lock the old,
And nevermore, as Poe would say,
will you be in my hold.

Erased right now, I've cleared all roads
departure, taking leave,
From deviance, behavior yours,
the webbing of, the weave.

Only forty-five, it took,
no more, no less, it seems,
To take away the "once upons"
that dormant lay in dreams.

No messages, none to relay
a farewell, this shall be.
I've been taken from time, too long,
now it's ticking just for me.

* I  read the "Taken From Time"
in a response somewhere..
can't recall where this morning
but wish to thank the writer
for the inspiration...

"For it was not into my ear you whispered, but into my heart.
It was not my lips you kissed, but my soul."
(J.Garland)

Every moment in my life has taught me something both good and bad about myself, all we can do is use the ones we have and know no battle is ever truly lost, as long as we are trying.  (((((((((((hug)))))))))))))

Naked thoughts,
I could hear the clock ticking in this...so it must be time for a change. *HuGS* come back soon.
