I toil with the soil with loving hands
In the serenity I lose everything
Clouded emotions will overcast
The seeking light of time
The roots are taught how to breathe
In the sighs of the gardener

Gentle tear mists will wash the leaves
That dust has claimed as homes
Nourishment comes from bottled up emotions
Flowing in storming passions gently letting loose
In a damming of relief
Showering the smell of stagnation away

Rows upon rows of arrangements
Seek the unity of thoughtful organization
For the eyes to ponder through rough trails
Of rutted pits and overgrown weeds
With bristles that scratch the mind
Clinging in magnetic weights

Mowing through with rotating cuts
The overgrowth is dimmed
To spark the obstructed view
Motors stalled to only drive on
Eventually overcome the wasted time
Somehow the burden of the view
Is worth the wait

For now in rough trails
The arranged beds of devoted toils
Can be seen growing in the mind intensity
Reds making love with yellows
To flow into passionate violets
Virgin whites bleached in preaching’s
Stand guard for the demons

Insects devouring the new found honey destroy the hive
Before the pollen can deliver the nectar
Spraying the conquering army
Of rebels of corporate invaders
Will save the wealth of the masterpiece
Before it become a fragile shell
Collapsing on its own weight

Reinforced barriers slow the demise
In never ending watches
Letting the hands that create
Bleed in the blisters of love
Thorns of beauty have been pricked away
To calluses of leathery hide
To finally develop the show

Everywhere but everywhere
In skies upon skies became blue
Bees sang in wings of glee
Never before had a vision like this appeared before
In rays that sparkled back in dazzling amazement
The universe stopped to watch
The blending of a man with nature’s time
For even the trails seemed to open up
For this show

But as the trails opened this virgin sight
The virus spread from the gate
A masterpiece was born
But could be destroyed even faster
By the stampede of those
Sick for something inside
To absorb their trampled sorrows

Limitations had to be made
So the pruning could take place
Could new gardeners unfeeling
Be taught to take on the load
Could it be bottled up in a pill
Be mass produced in special effects
Ticketed to Super Bowl prices
Inside my serenity I think not

So I choose those that may now enter
In the lie detector of humanity
For the hearts within must be true
And their hands must have suffered
The toils of their work in years of frustrations
In paths grown over in their own self doubts
To see the magic that can be made for those that try

Maybe soon other gardens will be shown
To conquer doubt
For this is my garden to build
And if chosen mine to destroy
But doing so will stop time
And I surely will wilt

Very complex thoughts here. I thought first of the simple joy of growing, and nature, and then it carried far beyond that. You said a lot here.
