Now what am I
to do with this?
Tell me.
I sit at your feet.
Soma...
oh my god of bliss,
and Morpheus
transforms the seed
of the blood
in wounded palm
an iron spike
to cross of calm
ankles bound
across the beam--
a single nail
to still my feet...
oh why, oh why,
forsaken be...
Father? Did
you forget me?

Dangling here
before the crowd
I think I learned
to pray out loud--
Mother Mary
do not weep
for death
is just awakening
from the flesh
that paints a dream--
I think I've dreamt
enough of sleep...

Touches of History
Touches of Religion
Ancient Reality
Things now long done

Capture a moment, hold a feeling,
The first brush of the morning paints
Using color from dreams unpeeling,
What canvas used? Sinners or Saints.

You do possess extra-ordinary qualities as a writer... this one is so direct that one can feel with it... in short, enjoyed reading...

you dont have to explain it...sometimes we have to write for us. The imagery and depth of this is impressive on its own merits.
Makes me wanna ask ya what you ate before bed? *wink*

It's not the love you feared ...
but the fall from the height.

I am now having an anxiety attack because I can't remember...I used to enjoy a bowl of Fruit Loops before retiring, but that was before the kids starting taping the cereal boxes to their faces like a feed bag...crunch crunch crunch...and none for me now!

to you me twin! Love you!

Soma...I thought I was the only one here who knew this word.  This bliss.  I'll be quiet now.

Duncan...I was beginning to think so too. Soma is actually a bit of a recurring theme in my words. Thank you, I feel a bit more understood now!

Now you've got me way too curious for this hour.  Shall I smart search or will you help me out with a few leads?
