Summer, spring, winter, fall
a varied wardrobe, wall to wall
for work or play, she has it all

a plastic girl with perfect hair
she lives her life in shapely flair
with model lover, debonair

her breasts are perfect, large but pert
long legs beneath her mini-skirt
a buxom, sexy, plastic flirt

a tiny waisteline, graceful hips
a perfect nose and gorgeous lips
but she can't speak or run or skip

her eyes can't see, her lips can't feel
her plastic skin, no lines reveal
she'll never age, a lucky deal

she wasn't born and she won't die
she'll never laugh and she can't cry
her plastic smile will never lie

but does her plastic soul feel pain?
if thoughts pervade her plastic brain
they're locked inside...she can't explain

perfection, in every way...so rare
a plastic mind which has no cares
she's Barbie, a doll beyond compare

Thanks Karen,  This was fun to write...I actually wrote it a few months ago, but it just seemed like a good retort to Stevie's poem called "The Perfect Woman"

Noah...thanks so much for your reply...
The doll is now a collectable...the earliest ones are antiques...so it was nice of you to call the poem a collectable also.

Thanks Joanna...I don't know a woman or a girl who doesn't want to look like Barbie...but if a real woman had her proportions, she wouldn't be able to stand up straight.
Real women have hips...and if they don't have them, they don't usually have anything on top either.

Thanks Stevie...
You might be able to get a robotic one built for you, but I don't think Crystal would be too happy about that
I wouldn't be...if David got one of those, of course.....unless she did ALL  of the housework, cooking etc.

Thanks Juanita...
We are trapped in the house today because we have some real Michigan weather...

Thanks so much for the addendum, Floria...and you are absolutely right.
Can you imagine what plastic fat would look like?  At least it probably wouldn't jiggle!

Barbie always looks just right
she has no plastic cellutlite

LOL...this has been a fun one!
