Cookie, Crumbling

in caramelized kisses
the earnestness
of his thought reached
her depths

folded in

she held on tenderly
to the
gingerness of his
touch, still untouched,

a dollop, waiting,

and slowly spread out
beneath the
intensity of the
fire’s bake

…a cookie…

warm and ready
to be served
with milk

What? No champagne?

This is full of wonderment and very tasty as well.

Very good.
