Look for the owl “I am like a desert owl, like an owl among the ruins.” NIV Psalms 106: 2 I am an owl that screeches loud; my neck spins round and round I do not need a light at night; I see and hear each sound No evil can escape my eyes, for I am very wise. I see all things that live on earth; I see the one that dies. And when a varmint crawls on earth, my vision starts to shine. And when a varmint is exposed, I quickly pounce and dine To cleanse the earth of varmints, I make my quick kill with glee For I’m an owl, at night I prowl, there’s no escape from me. And I’m three letters in a word, to make man wise like me 'Tis knowledge that builds wisdom, which helps a blind man to see To dine on truth with wisdom with every thought that waits And with keen eyes sees through dark lies, of envy, greed and hate. So when you walk, night or day, beware, hidden devil’s play Learn from the owl, catching prey; take knowledge with you, today. Purge the earth of darkened evil, shine God’s light everywhere And when you hear an owl at night, be thankful he is there. Look for the owl.
