“MIND GAMES” by Bill Charles ~~~~ Listening when you speak, loving words what I hear… Not the same, as your actions, they were always too clear… Trickery is what I know, my feelings don’t lie… Words cheap, which you told, you wonder, why I said goodbye… Not sure why you played this, it only killed the flames… Just destroying the years, with all your mind games… ~~~~ |

Killing the flames pretty much says it all. What once was a roaring fire to be stroked and kindled, burns down to embers and all that is left turns to ashes. Everything and everyone needs to be cared for if it matters at all. Nicely done Bill Charles~ |

Bill darling boy this is outstanding writing, rarely do I find such a gem this is a jewel shining with wisdom and much insight. Truly marvellous writing, don’t ever ever stop you are getting better hourly. Please continue to do so, not that you haven’t always been good but your writing these days seems more focussed and stronger somehow. BC So can lies, and cheating ruin a good relationship. Usually mind games start after someone has been terribly hurt and rejection sets in. |
