Would Jesus Christ return?

"The first angel sounded his trumpet, and there came hail and fire mixed with blood, and it was hurled down upon the earth. A third of the earth was burned up, a third of the trees were burned up, and all the green grass was burned up." NIV Revelations 8:7

Earth revolves around the sun rotating on its axis
Spinning to nature’s finest tune of planetary sense
Just an oblate spheroid under gravity's influence
From far distant galaxies, stars, and planets near and far.

Wobbling like a drunken sailor stumbling along its way
To somewhere, nowhere, constantly, clocking the time of day
Could our plant wobble a bit too far one gloomy day?
Tilt on its axis, make the equator into a pole.

Invert all geography make hottest climates, cold
Flood the plains, melt the caps, as it spins in newly found lost laps?
Just a big earth ball of air, water, fire and earthly mire
Under the call of strong new gravitational forces.

All earthly mass slightly shifted in a new universe?
With bursting volcanoes emitting hot earthquakes galore
As new mountains rise, old ones sink and oceans find new shores?
Where would man be? Hanging hopelessly on some fallen tree?

Trying desperately to flee? Crying God! I need thee!
Would cracks open wide, pull bad spirits down inside? To Hell?
Would the saved be pulled above, up to God’s heavenly love?
As Saints yearn? And Prophets predict, would Jesus Christ return?

Would Jesus Christ Return?

Thank you, floria. We are finding out that everything in the Word is scientifically verifiable. Nothing is magical. Let us always follow truth and love with purity. God is spirit and is always true and Christ is Spirit of Love. And His Way is purity.

As for the tilt,
The lands have moved and the climes changes,
It happened before it can happen again.
As for Jesus returning,
Well, that’s a matter of belief.

Enjoyed the poem.
