A tear so soft is flowed inside
A swirling mind
A cancer of sorts because it grows
For it is your emotion

In a babies mind it takes you
Unable to defend the womb
In rashes the diaper lashes
To strike you at your weakest point
To a crib of inner loneliness

In the strength of a mountain you hold it in
Like a balloon rising
And as you let off steam
In gushers of restraint
Letting gravity fail you
The flight of fright continues

Fortresses are built to defend the onslaught
Of evil dragons of destruction
But fears bring in the fantasies
Of Halloween horrors
In masks we try to hide
Until no mask will do
Except a baby hide of redemption

Growing older the puzzles grow in more dimensions
Smiling though mists of existence
In such proportions that the weight of the matter
Scrambles the storming hail
Bouncing within the bruises within our mind

If the pill of relief lies in our dictionary
It is in multicolored finger paints
That spreads hot flashes of images
In libraries of thought
Spilling all over our existence
To contribute to the magic within growing
And the depression within being flush down
The toilet of doubt

Hmmm ....like a baby we are at the mercy
of others.  Our tears are small in their shape but gravity remains the same.
It's a universal pull,  like the doubts
that are born before a child ever enters
the world.

A philosophical poem and I enjoyed your thoughts,
but I have to ask, what's up with the flush?
