I was walking down by the pond,
A daily pleasure of which I'm fond,
When an acorn caught my eye,
Atop a rock; I then did spy,
A scampering squirrel, run to the stone,
By waters edge, squirrel was alone.
Then came a splash, to my surprise,
A giant catfish, before my eyes,
Snatched squirrel and acorn, clean as can be,
In just a instant, it was just me.
I turned to go, was still amazed,
I wondered if, I might be crazed,
Then kersplash, I turned to see,
That giant catfish, staring up at me,
I must admit, I was in shock,
When he placed the acorn, back on the rock.

Woa! That was great! It came all in a flash and a splash and left a big grin on my face.

A close call indeed, Tim! Lucky for you, he was apparently not fond of nuts!
