Do We Give Reasons

There is still longing
My heart still exists
I am still that friend
Once on top your list

Kept in my memory
Of the times gone by
Days of recollecting
So much of you and I

Mind full of dreams
We shared the night
The fun and laughter
Once there was light

I wrote those words
You kept me strong
Replying with smiles
You strummed along

Drifting in memories
My thoughts of you
A heart without end
Still searches for you

Hear I was yearning
In listening my heart
Do we give reasons
Of why we drift apart

Hope there sometime are no clear reasons for drifting apart. Beautiful poem little lady...

without ever fully understanding the
reasons why.

Hope,this its home with me.I have a friend that I have drifted apart from.We only stay about 10 miles from each other.But she got a different job and it changed her.Even though we don`t see each other very much,I think we`ll always be there for each other.

Whistful and sad. Captures very well that sense of loss and seperation from friends who just slowly drift apart.
