clothes of blue
have all been shed
I bathe myself
in the color of red
I am not
a misty shade
crimson is my name
I shall not fade
waves of scarlet
burn through my soul
I am a fire
burning under control
ruby is the color
my life has exposed
a budding woman
has now become a rose
