Bondage love "Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage." KJV Galatians 5:1 Love must be invited or day will always turn to night Submission due to bondage fear is never, ever right The only way true love will stay is when both lovers know That each is free to fly away should true love fail to glow. For when you love somebody true, unconditionally Give every ounce of strength, you must still give love that's free There's never any guarantee love will be returned And if by chance it runs away your soul will surely burn. But when you try to force someone to keep on loving you When love has flown to skies unknown, why make more trouble brew? For sadness, sickness, jealousy will be the fruits you grow And love will quickly turn to hate, as evil steals the show. When you want love but love won't glow, just go about your way For if you are loved truly, love returns another day If someone doesn't love you, it is best you fly somewhere For bondage love is never true; it only brings despair. Thank you, Sue! You are so right! But all to often lovers, especially married partners, think that love can be demanded, promised, contracted and insured for life. Love has its own mind. And God made it that way! Otherwise, Creation couldn't work smoothly. All nature continues by natural attraction, not forced entitlements.
