Lost from my sight, now gone forever I fear
Left in the dark of night, not again be here.
A love I saw, this beauty that  I do need.
The yearning hunger within that I must feed.

She left the room, my heart shattered on the floor.
Oh why, oh why could I not just step to her?
My mind whirling with moments of desires.
My flames licking around me from the fires.

Will I  ever find true love as my only quest?
Shall I be always  left holding love in my chest?
Has this man not endured much over eternity?
Will she return, will she once sense and see me?

The leaves of passion fell around my two feet.
Withered and dry, no longer supple or sweet.
The aches of desire churning in an empty gut.
Will she again come, let love just once strut?

I cast the weight of the world from my soul
as loneliness from the bell towers do toll.
I sit and wait until love comes in the door.
Oh love, come let me share, give you more.

*sigh* just what I needed to read after the poem I just wrote....*sigh* gosh...what a romantic and loving heart you have...this poem is so tender.... I love it. **big hugs** I am sure she will walk right back through that door and give you all the love your heart can hold.

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.
