[13] Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding.
[14] For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold.
[15] She is more precious than rubies: and all the things thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her.

He brushes off the dirt of the grim street,
Cleans his shoes before putting on his feet,
In the Fountain washes his face and hands,
Outside her doorway to the side he stands.

Words, give him the words of understanding.

Always he’s there before opening time
Making of himself the one person line,
For he wishes to be where he his free,
Unfettered by bonds of reality.

Words, give him the words of understanding.

Each book is another glad place to be,
He travels far within the Library,
Knowledge from reading is food for the brain,
He can transcend his poverty and pains.

Gloom
