Now, Who's The Fool?
~*By Melissa P. Monette*~

You thought I was a fool
to be used as your tool
for amusement and laughter
as you dangled everafter
before my sullen face
of empty armed embrace
~
How silly! You assumed I wasn't astute
to figure out that you're not so cute
as you claim your glowing fame to be,
seems you send more souls to misery
rather than swim them in reverie.
I'm tired of smooching frogs in vain
who tantalize within your reign,
you deepen woe, you dull the sun
you imp, you cad, you sneaky one!
You slight the love, and send the lust
to pierce my heart with arrow's thrust,
though I wail, and though I cry
I need you not! This is goodbye!
~
It's time to take your final bow,
jokes on you! - I've got you now
in fate's defeat, where you belong
you think me weak, but, now I'm strong.
I'll find my prince, you wait and see!
I trust myself, that sets me free
I'm brave enough with faith in dreams
to follow truth of Luna's beams
to make a wish upon a star
to find that love is not that far
in the grace of rolling hills,
there, I'll sip of soulmate thrills

Nyah, Nyah! ~ Cupid!

ROTFLMAO Melissa,
Cupid spurned for real love. Go figure! It seems you can hardly go wrong with the plan you have in place. And by the way, it's always good to have a plan well stated...and it is! I loved this a bunch. Too funny.

What a great read, well, sometimes we are fools but you know what? At least we loved openly, that's the only way to do it and remember the good.  This is
one I will keep. Thanks, Melissa.
