In Your Poetic Mind

0 posted 2002-01-26 11:24 AM

Whisper to me your poetry

Laced in soulful books

Reveal to me thy words,

In play, to be scripture for the world,

I lay within my darkest hour

Breathing you in

Enter twined with passion,

Desire of longing

A trace of mist softly,

Upon my

poetic lips

I feel you sleep

Among my heart

While the innocent fall

Touch me in the breeze

Of flowers

Lilies and orchids

Gentle flesh giving

Be silent

I close my eyes

Touch me again with

Trembling hands,

Tears of rain,

Beauty is with you

Sleeping upon the earth

*****

Step through the
barrier of my mind,
enter my soul,
feel my desire,
let my eyes guide you
into the shadows
of my heart

Your magical whispers flow so gently in this one, Lauren. It's as if a soft tender mist covered these blue pages.
