One may not
reach the dawn

_____________________________

You cannot see the light, my dear
until the dark has made you fear
until the day is so far away
you cannot see the light.

Until the dark has made you fear
until the day is so far away
you cannot see the light
though a voice in dark you hear.

Until the day is so far away
you cannot see the light
though a voice in dark you hear
you cannot see the light quite near

You cannot see the light
though a voice in dark you hear
you cannot see the light quite near
save by the path of the night.

Though a voice in dark you hear
you cannot see the light quite near
save by the path of the night ~
when wrong is suddenly made quite right

Now ~ you've reached the dawn.

(smiles) Yes, yes, in understanding and coping with the darkness first, we will find compassion and our love will grow rich in the end and we will watch dawn forever beacon in the distance, approaching us with warmth and solace! (kiss on cheek) I love it, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Karilea, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

This style is wonderful Sunshine, I have been wanting to try it..can't think of the name of it now. Possibly Pantoun? maybe not, I don't really know too much about poetry. I just write it. LOL. great write here. floria

Karilea,

I like this very much.  Only if we travel through darkness can we truly appreciate the dawn.  I hope each of us will welcome that dawn as it holds the dark at bay.  A good day to you! *S*

Now is that ever the truth!  However the form you did this in to a dyslexic person makes them think they already read that stanza and keep re-reading the same ones, so this got a really good work over   Lovely and full of hope in the advise.
