There are simple words that haunt nights
and travel through my days with the demand
of giants stepping on whisps of clouds.
I don't know how to tame the whispers
and the voices that bear a haughty smile
in response to my cowardice.
I lack the ability to say no to my pen
and to these thoughts that bully their way on my page.
And now when I have found flow again
time restricts with an even harsher hand.

Isn't that the truth, When we have the words, we don't have the time. But you need to MAKE time, writing is important. this was nice. floria

LOL@making time...
*sigh* I don't think the librarians would want me making extra time on their computers right now, and this seems to be the moment when my mind is just racing with things to say. Belive me, I often neglect things for the sake of my writing. I don't know if thats good or bad, but it certainly makes me a crazy slave to it. ahh..but I always did like a like pleasure with my pain! LOL!

Thank you for reading this.

(big hugggssssss) Oh Jennifer, I know just how you feel; sometimes when I'm walking around without paper or a computer I always get these wonderful thoughts, but when I can't write them down, I can't help but feel morose because writing down how I feel means so much to me! (sigh) My heart goes out to you and I hope you can always captivate your loving thoughts now whenever you can! We all love you so much, sweet friend, your words are always a delight to us all! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Jenn, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Jenn,

Yes, it is so frustrating when your muse finally opens the floodgates in your head and then says in a sneaky playful voice: "Ok, you have five minutes to write down these thoughts into a coherent poem. GO!" (lol)
By the way, it's good to see you again. Been too long since we shared a computer screen.

I wish I could lay it all out there as you've done~~~

It's too bad that life demands so much of our time, sometimes I think we've got this all wrong, we should be living off the land and writing, singing, painting!

Instead, we go to work to feed the house payments and the car payments and save for college funds and clothe the kids and buy the groceries and ....

I've always felt that we should just have a day where we do nothing but write. . . a 24 hour block for us. . . to do nothing but that. . . what do you think???

excellent. . .

Irish Rose,
Trade? More time, but stopped up? LOL! I think I'd rather have the flood for my thirsts. At least I can catch some droplets of writing as it passes. *sigh* Thanks for reading, Lady!

Noah,
Its good to know someone knows how this feels. I was sure, this being a page of poetry, someone would. Thank you for your sweet and enthusiastic response, my friend.

Larry,
Yes, the pen met the paper. LOL! I'd say like two lovers who had been kept away from each other for too long! hmm...I'm writing that down! WOW! Thanks for the inspiration! Thanks for reading also.

JEFFEY!
Is it really really you? ROTFL! Well, it certainly has been too long, and yes you know just how to tag my muse it seems. Yep..its always a pleasure to share a computer screen with you, Sir! So, when do we share again?   Thanks for reading.

BluesSerenade,
Sometimes the bully within us is the hardest to overcome, but it happens. And when it does, there is a little light of inspiration we follow until we cannot walk. and then....when we fall..we rest..get up again and catch up with that same light of inspiration. I've done it. I know you can! Thanks for reading.

Kethry,
I don't see you often enough! Thank you for reading!

Cor,
Well...lol..just remind me of the real world will ya? I know what you mean...well...except for the children part! LOL! Yes, we are definetely in the wrong world. Its nice to see you, Cor!

Sven,
JUST ONE DAY? WHY! YOU MUST BE FEVERISH, SIR! LOL! IT WOULD TAKE MORE THAN ONE DAY! but..umm..err..if that is what was humbly offered and all that could be offered, I could be content with it! Thanks for reading!

ThUnDeRkYsS,
I am glad that you enjoyed this and found some truth in it. Thank you.
