We walked along each gentle beach
Once covered in sands of love
Our footprints left a paired impress
Warmed by the sun above

We packed the scoops of firm wet grains
With laughing playful skill
Until we had a castle built
To hide our passion’s thrill

A salty zephyr kissed our skin
In sands of amber stars
The song of glimmers in our eyes
Music to wind’s guitar

Faint ocean whispers in moonlight
Softly crept along the shoals
A pharos lit waves of passion
In heartbeats of two souls

You can complain because roses have thorns, or you can rejoice because thorns have roses.

                                                -Ziggy

Beautifully done, Victoria...
I especially loved this part

A salty zephyr kissed our skin

Victoria,
Okay...I'm gonna ask. I've avoided it. I've waited. I've hoped. I've stewed. I can't take it anymore. It's killing me. WHAT'S A PHARO? Hmmm?

Oh, I'm sorry, by the way, an other wise delightful write...but I'm distracted by that Pharo thing. I'll take your reply off the air. Sorry I seem to be getting confused. I hope she knows what a Pharo is.

Good collaboration.
I am with Larry in that I don't know what a Pharo is. I know faro and Pharoah but not your version.
Good poem
