If I could fight the demon
In your head
The one that keeps you from me
I would find such savagery
That Hell would shudder in fear
I wish I could take you in my arms
Push those fears away
But the solution to our woes
Is the one foe that always defeats me
Time…Patience
I'm a man that's up to any task
Nothing's too hard when I'm determined
No price too high to pay
For the ones I love
So God have mercy
If I ever have the chance
To settle the score
With the one that keeps you from me

Nothing ever happens unless first a Dream - Rod

(big hugggsssssss) So sad but very beautiful, sweet friend, I pray that you can sacrifice the tears that come in the space between you and her and you will reach her and love her forever and share true happiness and compassion for each other! (sigh) We all love you so much, sweet friend, all our hearts and prayers are with you both always! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Rodney, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Rodney...These are fighting words if I ever heard them. This poem has a brave spirit about it. Undaunted...you will fight on to win back the heart of the one you love. Really enjoyed this poem for all of the above reasons.   ***Ivy Rose

I never realized such messages could be found
in modern day poetry.  I can relate to this one,
hoping I can be that kind of man.
