Last one back Feb 3

The Clear of Mist

What’s clear to you is mist to me
What’s mist to you is what I see.
The shadows dancing round the moon
Are to me but the Ides of soon.

And fantasy a one-way street
A single phantom on a seat
Riding into the glen of wile
Riding in a glorious style.

Each one a world to its self
Putting life upon a shelf
Making kingdoms in the air
Castles of the fairest fair

I place you there on a throne
Worship you but all alone.
And tears run my saddened face
My dragon Randy has no place.

It holds for me the gist of true
I love and kiss the mist of you.

I will look beyond the mist
and hold here in tight fist
these last words that I will see
until February comes, day three

Until then, I shall roam
through the archives, Randy's home
where I won't be so alone
and wonder, shall I turn to stone?

Nay, not stone, but sullen Sun
shall wonder where's the fun?
no morning sigh, no thought, well done!
no soul captured by poetic run

What's this? you say, there're others to read?
Then read I shall, until your feet
come again to soil, and grasp your pen
to wing us all to never's end...
