Warrior clouds dance
in tribal skies
indigo spirits awaken
ebony smoke signals
and feathered headdress of stars
dance across the forefathers
of a Cheyenne moon

Pine trees bow
to regal mountains
worshiping below
upon reservations
as moccasin winds blow

Warriors in Buffalo robes
shuffle their feet
to buckskin tom toms
ceremonial drums beat

Wingspans of an eagle
shadow dances
with maidens in the moon
celebrating raindrops
upon a papoose cheek

You can complain because roses have thorns, or you can rejoice because thorns have roses.

(smiles) Ooohhhhhhh...this is sooooooo spiritually soothing, sweet friend, I can hear the drums beat and fires sing and warriors dance to your wonderful surreal words! (kiss on cheek) T%his is gorgeous, sweet friend, you truly are a queen of imagery to us all! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Victoria, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!
