In tribute to a lady friend
who wants her baking to stay original
she invites everyone to come and see
her custom made specialities
all appealing for the hypoglycemic, fitness freak and people with diabetes.
There is no sugar, milk or fat
the pastries fill you up,
how do you like that?

Since health is a big issue here
she has clinched a market dear,
with vistors passing the good word on
others who have allergies have come.
The beauty of the business though
is knowing that she bakes with special dough
but also she does not want to expand
and stretch to her market to other bakery lands.
She would rather just keep her stand!

Great poem, Martin...
I just have to have one of her cakes...real soon.  My son, Victor's birthday is on Tuesday and my husband, David's is on Feb 10.....and everyone is on a diet....so please send me a couple of her diet cakes!
This poem is delicious!

ecrivan,
you should be in advertising...your poem made me want to nip across to Canada and get some. However healthy cakes sounds like an oxymoron to me.

Keth,

What can you say they look cakes, taste sweet
like them too!

Stevie,

I have a sweet tooth so I know what you're saying, can't have this stuff as my staple food.
