** This one is a little rough, I was having trouble piecing it together.  But I thought I would throw it out there since it is the first thing I have written in a long time**

_____________________________________________________________

I can't forget this feeling
I have burning deep inside
The one that keeps on telling me
To stop running and fight
fight for how I feel
fight for what I want
hold on to this notion
that you are worth this plight
I want you to know
The feelings that I repress
I want you to understand
That without you, life seems worthless
But there are people fighting
for both sides of this battle
The strong ones who are pushing
for me to make my move.

I fear the rejection
That power you hold inside
to turn my world upside down
No matter what you decide
I long to hear the words
That you and I are one
I long for the feeling
that I dabble in now and then
Help me understand
How you feel for me
Give me a reason to hope
for an us eternally

Noah Eaton:  thank you so much.. Your extremely kind words make me feel very welcome in rejoining this community....
I'm working very hard on getting what I want.

Rose Petal:  thanks for responding... I think now that it is posted here that I like it the way it is too....  I'm gonna keep striving for what I want, hopefully I'll get up that nerve to go and get it

Hi Steph, I love this piece just the way it is...I enjoy the way you summed it up in the last couple of lines, but, the entire second stanza really completes it.  Oh, I am going to start rambling here as this is the kind of writing I love, so I'll just say, 'Hi, this is great, I love it, and would love to see more.'

Nancy:  The second stanza is my favorite too.... Thank you for responding     I think my muse has finally returned so you may be seeing quite a bit of me in the future.

Robert:  Fighting huh, stop the fighting and enjoy the feeling.  Although the uncertainty is almost as bad as fighting.  thanks for reading and I'm glad you enjoyed it.
