Mothering Memories

~*Marge Tindal*~

Bride of child ... soon 'with child'
Oh, how your beauty has shown
Barely fifteen years of life
yet new lives soon would be born~

And in the growing you found the time
to present us each with new life
Five of us in the making
each a special undertaking~

Beautiful Mother ... sweet grace of face
how you wrapped me in your poetic lace
You held my thoughts in tender spill
gave my ink the etch of quill~

~*~ o ~*~

To me ... you gave the poetry from your soul
Forever I am in your debt
for all the verses I have written
and the ones I've not written yet~

~*~ o ~*~

I gather thoughts from the family tree
gracing them with branching poetry
Always I am mindful of
the colors gifted in your inkwell of love~

~*~ o ~*~

Thanking my Mother ... for all I am poetically~
Tenderly from my heart~
I'll always wish she was still here to read them~

Then she must have been blessed with a poetrygift herself, if she taught you to write.

Sometimes mothers are priceless, are they not? And your's is one of them.

Thank you so much for sharing, you were given birth by a muse.
