Like an artist puts his paintbrush to paper
So do I take my pen and I write
My ideas may come during the daytime
Quite often they will come in the night

So much I have found I can write about
The words flow like blood through my veins
I find myself writing of romance
And of love that can sometimes cause pain

When writing about my beautiful garden
The words flow like a river through my head
And I hope that my humble word pictures
Bring enjoyment to those who have read

My words try to be healing and outreaching
Hoping they may brighten someone's day
Especially if they're feeling unhappy
And I can help drive the dark clouds away

I am far from alone as a writer
So many gifted people I see
Who receive so much joy from their writing
Just like the neverending joy it brings me

*giggling* don't you just love it...before I started to write poetry...I didn't even like it..now...I just can't get enough...but I think that has a lot to do with reading poets who write from their hearts. **big big hugs**

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.
