The Very Same

I’ve lived a life of misty morn
With colored skies and butterflies
With crystal due that washed new born
That sang to me in lullabies.

I’ve walked among the daffodil
And played within the valley’s green
I’ve idled nostrils winter shrill
And savored all of winters scene.

I looked across the great divide
And saw the vultures soar on high
Watched the mountains brake and slide.
And heard the winds of time go by.

I’ve sipped the cup of ecstasy
And wore the crown of every day
I’ve tasted love and fantasy
And everything that came my way.

All within the misty dawn
The very same where I was born.

Seymour,

Such powerful visionary (or is it visual?  maybe both ) impact!  I could see such vivid images in my mind.  Everything about this is just so wonderfully clear, almost tangible.  Thanks for the read!

I do enjoy ALL of this...but the play on words here...
quote:

And heard the winds of time go by.

made me giggle...

Ah Seymour ... a beautifully flowing lullibye of words to greet this misty morn. Excellent phrasing and visuals throughout, much enjoyed these tender sentiments and the pictures they brought to my mind.

Best wishes,
/Kit
