Tiny Bubbles

The air is filled with fragrance sweet
as bubbles fill the tub
A sigh released tells of this treat
to soft skin they will rub

Giggles of delight fill the air
when big splashes are heard
A quick gasp to make me aware
and wonder what’s occurred

An open door brings forth a smile
that turns into a laugh
I stand there watching for awhile
Fred in his bubble bath

He’s built himself a battle ship
with bath toys holding fast
Around the tub he makes them zip
with toilet paper mast

His face is lit with such delight
with soap upon his nose
Little grandson you’re such a sight
when tiny bubbles blows

(giggles) Soooooooo cute, sweet friend, your words are always such a delight to read! (smiles) I hope Fred had the time of his life in that bubble bath; I love taking them so much too, they are so warm and refreshing! (kiss on cheek) I love it, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Karen, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Oh Karen!!!  This is just adorable and what a change from the romantic writing we are so used to from you! Aren't they just adorable in the tub?  I love this....and I am keeping it! Ha!

What a wonderful word picture you've painted here!  Thanks for posting it.

The title made me think of the Don Ho song. But the poem brings much prettier pictures. I confess that I still love a bubble bath, I think it’s something we never outgrow.

If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please?

You first made me think a sensual bath with a sexy man was on the way. LOL  What a twist.
I have lots of pics and even some videos of the little ones playing in the tub. Too cute.
