So many victims and so few chances
So much strife and cut romances ,
the spread of hate crosses borders
falling prices attracts investment hoarders.

So much death can be prevented
recycled hate is continually vented
government parties try to appease
the voting public is still ill at ease.

Scores of children holding banners
tens of thousands still well mannered
but the day that moods will stay tempered
are few, so much killing is in plain view.

Vote for peace that's free of ticks
or take a game of pick of sticks;
bound together with invisible glue
so much killing is in plain view.
While on sunny coasts, my minister lies
in my house his service spies,
the hunt is for information on terror clans
to check to see if we can reduce their fans.

There's a smell of hate crossing borders
as presidential men cut diplomatic corners
So much carnage could have been prevented
but recycled hate is continually being vented
