Chariots of Passion
By: Victoria and Noah Eaton
1/20/02

Upon this enchanting chariot ride
an emperor and his empress of night
her dashing Caesar in roman moonlight
descending upon their lustrous eve
violins, trumpets, flutes, and bassoons
creep like love notes upon a moonlit wall
glissando tones against the vanilla moon
shoals of rose petals plait her hair
intoxicating essence, they came, they saw
an aura of radiance kisses their cheeks
sparrows embracing amethyst stars
leading white horses into freesia mist
guided by passion, conquered with a kiss
they gallop in an empire of total bliss

Noah/Victoria - Well done. I could envision the chariot and the whitehorses fading into the mist.  Very nice.

Whew ... I am now a puddle on the floor, so I am having to use my very wits just to type.  Everything about this piece is so flowing and romantic ... there is such a lovely, almost mystical quality.  It reminds me almost of a fairytale, or a long ago legend.  Well done!
