In Your Poetic Mind

0 posted 2002-01-19 10:50 AM

Strum the guitar
Softly
Upon this hesitant soul,
That which soars
In horizons not
Met by the sky

I breathe in passionate
Stories among your mind
Where rainbows and last
Snowflakes fall

Your music plays
Beauty to haunt rose
Petals with soft
Touch bending
Sunlight behind
Earth's wall

You left time
Fractured in a silver
Streak, that kisses
The mist of meadows
And whispers softly
Upon flesh

I am lost in regard,
Reaching past the
Storms of pain to
Settle along the
Shadows edge

Still

I heard candles
Melting as memory
Fades within
Gentle existence

Tomorrow's another day
and I'm thirsty any way
so bring on the rain

the kind of melting that warms our soul and lights our night with promises kept ... and the traces left behind.
you know that I know --that you know.
This is exquisitly you..and another keeper for my treasure chest.

It's not like you to say sorry
I was waiting on a different story
This time I'm mistaken ...

Lauren sometimes I just don't know what words to say when I read your poetry.  I know your soul and how beautiful it is, and the way you write it in words truly touches me.  It makes you who you are.....and I really enjoy who you are.  Hugs dear Lady.

Lauren,

I was left with chills.
This is a wonderful piece of work.
Not only did it paint a beautiful picture in my mind,
your words flowed perfectly.
I love it!

This, Lauren, is no ramble ...
it trapped me among thoughts
of silent memories
soft music which they make
in my mind,
in my heart ...
all by the burning candlight
of my being,
my soul ...
tender existence.

Well done and thank you
for the memories!!
