I guess I must crazy,
I made the fateful choice.
And yet I sit and hunger-
And I long to hear your voice...

I once sent you a letter-
Your reply was quite subdued.
I felt so very foolish...
And my careless haste I rued.

We're dreamers in a fantasy
To think that love will grow.
We're destined to be lonely,
And by now we ought to know...

That poet's hearts are crystal-
So easily they break-
We die inside each time we write
For someone else's sake.

And sit alone and lonely-
In solitude, and cry-
And someday, in the darkness,
Each one of us will die.

And no one here will miss us-
We are the castaways-
Who dream of how things used to be-
Back in the good, old days-

So here's to you, you poor recluse-
And now I'll tell you why...
Let's eat, drink, and be merry, for-
Tomorrow we shall die.

Oh sir the words hold a heart that is hurting. One never has to be lonely as long as there is someone to read his words.

(sigh) Soooooooo sad but beautiful also, sweet friend, desires can indeed overwhelm us, but we always must embrace each day with hope to hold love true and find joy in the simplest things! (big hugggsssss) This is soooooooo wonderful, sweet friend, it reminds me of the Dave Matthews song "Trippin' Billies"! We all love you so much, sweet friend, this is fabulous! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet John, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
