A Walk in the Shadows

I walk in the shadows of change
Not strange to me for life is that
Its length and width infinites range
And I believe the world is flat.

With perhaps a bulge here or there
Just for interest to peek our mind
These are the challenge of our dare
For a sail into futures find

Full and empty each side the scale
And true, blind justice holds its weight
It tips with each our traveled sail
Each path we take has end and date.

No bright can light shadows to see
Their essence wait beyond the bend
They are but air as yet to be
And shadows till the very end.

These are phantoms that hold my hand
Walk with me through my shadow land.

Well you know I will walk with you anywhere...
the dark the light...day or night
heaven or hell ...where angels or dragons dwell

I do so enjoy when you write these verses of Sy-wisdom wrapped in rhyme divine...
love the internal rhymes, and the clever metaphor and analogies in this me Stinkylove.
And this one is deep deep my sweet shadows keep
*ww*

It's not like you to say sorry
I was waiting on a different story
This time I'm mistaken ...
for handing you a heart worth breakin'

JM,
I know my sweet you are a butterfly and not a spelunker but your answers are always a pleasure to read. They are the color of your wings and the nectar of your mind and that is what I truly seek to find.

Shadows..so many to obscure the clear path. Yet I know it is there, somewhere.
This is very deep, I feel a lot of things coming from it.

I think we all have shadows in our life that we have to walk with. I like the way you wrote yours.

Sometimes my shadows stopped me from listening to my inner self which knew the way to the light all the time.  So many shadows hold us back, and encompass us from going to, or being what we would like to be.  Oh, I loved this one Sy.  Reminded me of "who I used to be", and I am so thankful for "who I am now".  I probably read it wrong, but it hit home for me.

Mysteria,
The shadows I spoke of are all shadows of life that take our hand. It is a never ending parade. It only ends when we do. But your comments ae always a delight.
