“KICKING SAND”
by
Bill Charles
~~~~
Wandering on the beach,
surf’s mist in my face…
Not knowing where I’m going,
might be anyplace…
Perhaps searching for you,
we really haven’t met…
I know I’ll meet you today,
of this I’d make a bet…
Just want someone that’s fair,
loving, charming, and fragile…
I’ll look all over the beach,
possibly we’ll meet, accidental…
It’s my heart, wanting to share,
just waiting for you, to expand…
Felt this way on the beach,
wandering, just kicking sand…
Wow, what a wonderfully adventurous romantic heart. Hope she bumps into your sandcastle, or 'captures' you while you are kicking some sand.
Bill..I know this is a serious write my friend...but, you worry me going around kicking sand like that...are you barefoot?
There could be glass or broken bottles, or rocks or anything under that sand....
Please be careful....good write!
Bill darling boy I really love this poem it is UTTERLY utterly fabulous.  The descriptive way you use your lines is utterly superb.
I could truly see the scene of the man strolling along the beach scanning the horizon waitind for THE woman to come into his life.
I love this its full of hope and optimism, and the flow is utterly excellent
Love and warm stuff
(sigh) Soooooooo beautiful, sweet friend, your loving heart always shines with the beauty of a true romantic; may you find yourself treading toward the love of your life forever and roll around on the beach sands with her forever in happiness! (big hugggsssss) We all love you so much, sweet friend, this is sooooooo beautiful! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Bill, thank you for sharing!
May love and light always shine upon you!
Bravo Bill, you put me right on that beach with you, kicking sand for love instead of in spite! poeticdreamer
Bill, this is what walking on the beach inpires me to feel, also. Keep thinking the one you have waited for must be just around the next dune. Cause how else could you feel so much beauty and peace, and I dare say momentary happiness, with the ocean tickling your toes, and the sand so soft and warm.
Guess I like this poem a lot.
Sir Charles,
If kicking sand on a lovely beach
would keep the problems out of reach
This Lady would join you in your walk.
Always,
Lady Ollyne
