My Favorite Song

sing me a lullaby
rock me sweet
I feel the rhythm
in your heart beat
safely protected
in arms of calm
a song of harmony
my favorite song
cradle of warmth
to forever keep
cushioned in pleasure
ease me to sleep

What more could anyone
ask for in a poem of such
comfort and peace.  This
certainly had all that and
more.  Nicely done, Helen.

Helen, it's good to read your poetry again.  This is delicately beautiful, it's a keeper

Take care,

Dear Poetess, this one is so soft and just what I needed on my way to hopefully sweet slumber. Thankyou. Chris
