If I let my love for you free
Would it change what is between you and I?
Would it put leaves on the trees?

How long can I go on loving you
If I answered today, tomorrow, and beyond
Would it bring my world into view?

Would the warmth of my love
Warm your heart
Like the sun above

If I got lost in your eyes ?
Would you allow me to find myself?
Or would you think it was a guise

I could only offer you a poor man’s roses
For I have very little else
But my love for you to dispose

I would give you a love of a lifetime
That would out live us both
If only you would accept this love of mine

A princess you would be
The queen of my life
Our love the world would see

The flame of our love would never go out
Just to look upon your face
Makes me realize that you I could not live without

To just sit with you by my side
Listening to some gentle music
Would be enough to keep the world on the outside

How long would my love last like this
Tell me how long you want it to last
Maybe today, tomorrow, and forever

Would that be long enough to suit you?

Today, tomorrow, forever.....in love these are such beautiful thoughts.  Well done.

On the wings of words our spirits fly....and our souls are free.

Who's the lucky girl?
A poor mans' rose is rich in color like any other
to say nothing of the heart of gold.

I would suggest giving
this to her.  I know I'd love
it if I received something like this

Paula.. there would be
4- red roses for respect
4- yellow for the joy I wish in your life
4-white for the purity of your friendship
and 4 pale blue ones for yoour friendship
which i still value highly
