Lonely they stand
Exposed to the air
Their tapered limbs
Diminish to nothing
Often hidden by summer plumage
Till its façade gives way
Leaving it alone
And bare
Tho they appear to be dead
Inside flows life
Waiting for the time to awaken
Springing forth a new resurgence
For all to see and rejoice in
To forget our lost plumes
Our lonely times
Our naked souls

Lets Love one another and let God do the worrying,
Rodney

Rodney, this is so lovely. Nature in all it's beauty, winter or summer. You describe it well. Cheryl
