The Shores of Alone

A dance of love they had last night
as moonbeams flowed through shadows glaze
they spun in circles born of light
and let themselves fall into haze.

He tipped her backwards as they dreamt
of future plans that shone like gold
from Mount Olympus they were sent
to relive love of ages old.

The stars grew brighter as they stepped
and magic touched, to souls unite
though mists reformed of secrets kept
to threaten love renewed that night.

The dance went on, to persevere
in truth, twas nothing left to fear..

Hey Moon...haven't seen you in a while - my fault, I know, still - loved this, per usual, and especially the last lines...

catalinamoon,

this is wonderful!  The
flow and rhyme is very
catchy, and the greek theme
goes well with the love story

The sparks left behind are now called stars ...
I wonder, wich Gods danced and which just waited for the right moment that never would come.
New costellations are found all the time ...
Catalinamoon sounds like an eternal spark, never faultering,
never losing its brillance. *s

You write this dance of love so beautifully Sandra. Such gorgeous images came to mind as I read this piece, enchanting indeed.
