Touch Me In The Morning

~*Marge Tindal*~

Touch me in the morning
when the moon has lost it's glow
When sun has peeked through curtained lace
setting the room aglow~

Feather me softly with rose-petal caresses
from your wandering fingertips
Gently play across my day
with fluttering kisses upon my lips~

Awaken me from slumber
far from the gentle night
Touch me in the morning
make my day dawn bright~

I will turn to you
with the love of you reflected in my eyes
As you touch me in the morning
with thundering surprise~

~I love you~

Marge,
I'm beginning to think you are a bit of a romantic. Wouldn't a pop-tart and a juice box be just as great a way to start the day? Ok, maybe not.
Beautiful poem.

I wanta be able to write a poem like this... though if I was ever so blessed to know such bliss, I'd probably sit around with a silly grin on my face and not one coherent thought! LOL

Margie my friend of days gone past
I see a great Knight has finely captured
Thy heart at last
Many happy days unto thee and thy kind Knight
Sweet maid I love your work as always
This read is truly beautiful
Though I post not many these days we now are in
I still stop in from time to time
To drink my fill of all the beauty
Within this place

If ones cup should be filled til it runneth over
and there be no vessel to catch the precious
contents there of then it will be lost.
