The Angels Held A Ball

Did you know that up in heaven,
The angels began to sing?
They all were dressed in silken robes,
With glitter on their wings.
The heavenly choir was singing,
And a banquet was laid out.
And as the jubilation continued,
The angels danced about.
Now what was it that happened ,
To bring about this ball?
A very special person,
The head angel did call,
Is just about to enter,
Please welcome him one and all.
For even though he is sorely missed,
By family and friends and all.
His Father beckoned to him,
George answered to His call.
And now up in God's heaven,
In peaceful Godly bliss,
As he looks down upon us,
My son George whispers this,
I miss my family so much,
And wait for them to come,
Till God decides to call them,
I'll wait for every one.
Until that day I will remain,
In Gods own family.
Until the one I have on earth,
Comes finally home to me.

Oh, my, ok, you got me with this one.  Floria, your son IS an angel.

And you know what else?

He is waiting there for you!

I have goosebumps...time to get some coffee and a kleenex....

(tears fall down my cheeks) God Bless You, sweet friend, this is such a sad but beautiful tribute to your son! (sigh) He is a true angel, sweet friend, just as you are, and when the time is right, you will visit him again, and forever more, as his love will always shine upon you and warm your heart! (kiss on cheek) We all love you so much, sweet friend, your words are always a pure ball of love and compassion! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Floria, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Floria, how very special this is. Such a sweet story of your son's leaving. Thoughts such as this make death bearable. I must post a poem I wrote for my brother and his son who have both passed. My brother was killed in an accident at age 33 and his son died 7 years later at age 21. Somehow, we manage to go on through God's grace. Thanks for sharing your heart. Cheryl

Dear Floria; my daughter, Michelle is there with your son and sharing in all the joy! We will be with them dancing all together one day! I share in this with you, as only another mother who has lost a child can...Love, Ellie

Floria, this is such a beautiful tribute to George.  I hope that he has become friends with my son, Eric, who entered heaven a year and a half ago and my first husband who will celebrate his third anniversary there in May.
Like Cheryl says...somehow, God gives us the strength to carry on.
I can honestly say that I really feel for you.
I have been there, but would give anything not to have been there, but writing poetry has been very therapeutic for me and it looks like it has been for you, too!

How beautiful this is Floria. This made me picture my mom at this ball too. And you know George will be waiting for you, and watching over you, as you watched over him for so many years.

If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please?
