The Cruel Of Time
(In Wait For Fate)

Though we're meant to embrace
time refuses fate,
another life sees your face
before a lover's gate.
The day will come when you are mine
almost when it's far too late
when earth and sky are divine
will you shine as my soulmate.

But, until I hold that hour
my dreams will dip in stupid
filling heart with sour
from the bow of Cupid.

The tick of time is standing still
to test the strength of my core
the cruel of yearn leaves eyes in spill
knowing that there's something more.
I wake each morn in misery
and, I breathe in, breathe out;
Though you live, there's uncertainty
shrouding faith in doubt.

Down this lonely path, I plod
hiding from my past
on bended knee, I beg of God
to lavish you at last.
The moon will sing when you are mine
when sighs do soothe and satiate
when real and fantasies align
will you shine as my soulmate.

But, until I hold that hour
I'll waste in worried wait,
starved to taste the power
from the fruits of fate

Boy, what feelings of expectancy and love.

Seems like everyone has cabin fever these days
especially when we are separated from someone we love.....

(big hugggssssss) Oh Melissa, I know just how you feel, I am in love with the most beautiful girl I could ever dream of, but we live far apart and need to wait for time to bring us tohether if our love is true! (sigh) Love will come to your heart soon, sweet friend, then the moon and angels will sing for you everyday in your happiness forever and you will be flooding with love poems! (kiss on cheek) We all love you so much, sweet friend, you truly are a Queen of Romance! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Melissa, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

So good, and so in tune with my emotions,(as usual)

"The moon will sing when you are mine
when sighs do soothe and satiate
when real and fantasies align
will you shine as my soulmate.

But, until I hold that hour
I'll waste in worried wait,
starved to taste the power
from the fruits of fate"

Those words.wow..you know I could have said them myself.

Melissa,
Wonderful.....and you've touched on precisely how badly we long for our dreams to come true. THIS poem is a dream come true!

Melissa...I know these feelings all too well also. I am impatiently awaiting my love of 13 years to come back home so that we can resume our lives. Thank you for sharing...and remember that no matter how sad, no matter how deep we feel, there is always a tomorrow...Rod

One fine day we will reach our fate
and time will no longer matter.
In the meantime we are left in the passing.

Your thoughts were heartfelt, and touching.

Yes, waiting for the moment you can confess your feelings is a cruel wait indeed.
It is lovely Melissa.
