If I touch back
to Yesterday
To you, delight,
and words that play

To whispers echoed
in the night
To dancing close
in candle's light

I hear a song
of love so true
that so long after
carried through

Of standing by
in quiet's pain
when one slipped down
lost in the rain

For even if
a love is true
There is a window
of time for two

And should that chance
slip by before
you join hands
in love's adore

It's gone with only
remembered pain
A song I'd like
to hear again

(sad sigh) So sad but beautiful, sweet friend! Your loving heart will hear this song again, and you will sing with true happiness forever and gaze through loves window with love close to your heart! (big hugggssssss) We all love you so much, sweet friend, this is fabulous! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sunset, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Sunset,

Never fret
about a Sunset
Just arise
To a new sunrise.

Very beautiful poem.

*sigh* so sad but so true...sometimes we wait too long and miss the chance love offered us. My heart felt this poem. **big hugs** I know this feeling too.

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.

Thank you so much, Noah and sodpossom, you are both very kind.

Alan, that is very true.  Thank you!

Marge, thank you for a very high compliment.

And Silver Streak, thank you so much for your words.  They left me with a smile.

This is wonderful Sunset.  I've found that sometimes the window closes, and sometimes, it's left open for that time.

Beautiful poem, I've enjoyed reading your work thus far.
