Upon wings of time ~ my mind sings a song A song as endless as time itself It rings in the rafters ~ it echoes in the deepest pits Once the music starts ~ you just can’t help but sing along It can warm the heart of the coldest woman Or melt the heart of the hardest man It can wrap you up ~ or totally shut you down It can rub you raw ~ like a grain of sand The feelings you get when you hear this song Can make you float in the clouds Or it can drag you thru the gutter It just drags you along Once you hear this song You are never the same You may never be sane And you never quite get over it It can make you shed tears ~ till your eyes are slits It can make you smile Even when no ones around for miles But no matter what you always want to sing So when the bird of love You do one of two things Enjoy the ride and handle it with kid gloves Or shoot it and have dinner The choice is yours to make But if you decide you are hungry Don’t go jumping in the lake When you find you’ve made a mistake Cause swimming just ain’t allowed © IcyHeart |

  BRAVO!!! I LOVE IT!!! A roller-coaster expression of what love can do for all our hearts! (big hugggssssss) I love it, sweet friend, this is sooooooo beautifully said!
