Dear Jackie

I wanted, months ago..before you left my life,
to tell you how my sun rose over you each day.
How complete I felt within your web of love.
That I adored each moment we had those years.
And...that I will not erase those memories, ever.

You were an unending breath of spring to me.
Passionate summer nights consumed us both.
Our swims beneath the stars, bare to the air.
Me, wagging as I ran, making you giggle.

Firelight kisses as wood popped, scaring you.
Carrying you upstairs, the kiss that lasted.
Your shimmering eyes as I lay you on the bed.
The look that said NOW...I want you NOW.

Breakfast at noon, sleeping in after those moments.
Eternal moments of joy, ecstacy, passion flowing.
Sighs that echoed off the walls, the sheets flying.
Your shudders, my own mixing, teeth gritting.
Now gone, but still here in my thoughts.

How could I ever forget this, I dream of it now.
You are my dreams, my life, my existence.
I want you there always, as it will be.
Even though you are there, you remain here.

Here among the stars of my night.
The sun that warms my waking day
The breeze that flows over the land, my face.
The earth, where all I have...is forever yours.

Magnus...Truly a declaration of true love in this poem. So simply; but beautfully stated.  What was is never lost. We keep it inside stored away...to be remembered on some lonely day.   ***Ivy Rose

There is a gift of love if one chooses to see and accept it.  You write that gift so very well.  My compliments, Magnus.

Magnus darling boy oh what joy it is to read your wonderful beautiful words.

This blazed with passion it’s truly superb but you know that don’t you? Of course you do. It is UTTERLY utterly fabulous as always when you shine no one shines like you do

The story was sooooooooo vivid and soooooooo beautifully told, and sad, but hopeful if you know what I mean. YOU have written a wonder here you truly have.

Love and warm stuff
As always

My mother outlived my father.  I think, had she taken time to pen some thoughts, she would have written this for him.  She passed away four years after he did.

Her name was Jackie.

Thank you, Magnus.  I am keeping this for very obvious reasons....

it touched my heart.
