I am ordinarily colorless-
a black and white print on occasion,
a gray silhouette defined by the undefined.
Not densely white nor black, but by fusion
of light and shadow combined.

I am ordinarily colorful-
a mosiac, my lines distinct (not a rainbow fold
of pastel, delicately smeared);
the brush weighted with summer gold
and cayenne red, an Autumn storm of passion
the sun fears.

I am a strength, a weakness;
the sum of ordinary.

Music, perfectly pitched,
Caresses the harshest curve.

I love art metaphor--especially this one. Impressionistic style being complexly simple--or simply complex--a very good analogy to describe the human condition!

WOW!!!How can you say your are ordinary when you write a masterpiece like this...now go back to your mirror and wipe of the steam so you can see the beauty that is reflected back at you...See yourself as we see you and you will see the real you...and she is far from ordinary but is indeed extraordinary...**big hugs**

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.

Bill-- Thank you. You're so kind. Don't ever change. *s

Startime-- Yes, we are all unique and valuable but a little humility never hurt anyone either. *s
