I have a Zen garden that lives within my mind
Gifted me by someone to help me to unwind
In my Zen garden I can look and often find
Flowers of the strangest hue; many different kinds

In my Zen garden that blooms in the darkest night
Flowers born of friendship grow toward lovers' light
See the blooms of friendship grow, though the cause is slight
One by one I see them bloom, in songs of delight

There is a bloss'ming daisy in the corner there
It reminds me of my friend, who has beauty rare
Not like the thorny roses that prick me with care
The daisy blooming in my heart was planted fair

I use a Zen garden that was given to me
By my good friend Marsha to calm and set me free
Visions of her beauty bloom out and let me be
Anything I want to in visions that she sees

Who'd use a Zen garden the idea's so absurd?
It's only use to free my thoughts, rise up as a bird
Here is my Zen garden in which my thoughts are stirred
I offer back the gift to you in deed and word

Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind.  Unknown

You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Kethry, thank you for sharing!

Keth darling sister of my soul this is utterly utterly beautiful. A Zen garden in your mind this is wonderful writing as always. YOU know how special this is to me. I know you just want to get your hands on the raking tools now don’t you? Patience as they say is a virtue YOU’LL just have to practice some Zen philosophy and be at peace.

Yes I know I love to tease you darling girl. Stop complaining or I’ll forget to include the sand and then where will you be? All Zen and nothing to rake quelle horror.

Of course I'll be keeping it in my heart and in my library. Beautiful as always darling heart

Love and warm stuff

Keth - Great writing.  Truly a beautiful way to express your friendship towards Marsha and others.  One good thing about Marsha's flower being in your Zen Garden, is that it probably doesn't need to be watered from all the crying her flower does.
