“BEAUTY I’VE SEEN”
by
Bill Charles
~~~~
I’ve seen a cloud in the summer daylight,
a moonbeam falling, on a starry night,
the lake peaceful and serene, resting there,
ocean waters, as they touch everywhere…
I’ve seen mountains, reaching to the sky,
the forests, reaching out to beautify,
constellations shining in the darkness,
the Milky Way and all it’s mightiness…
Then I see you, but I don’t compare,
it’s because of you, of them I’m aware,
you have guided me through, to harmonize,
with all this beauty, I’ve seen with my eyes…
Some people can live their lives and never see this....and there is so much beauty out there....this takes my breath away....
Bill~Seems as though when we are in love we see things we overlooked before....and things appear brighter, more full of colour.  Beautifully penned poet sir!
Then I see you, but I don’t compare,
it’s because of you, of them I’m aware,
The right woman, the right love...brings things into focus we never saw before.  Incredible write, BC.
Bill darling boy this is fabulous writing, you never cease to stun and amaze me. Not because I don’t expect your writing to be beautiful I know it is. But I never expect it to continue to get better and more descriptive than ever.
You know that this is utterly wonderful don’t you, the flow and the metre are just perfect
Truly sensational writing, beauty is always welcome darling man and YOU bring so much of it
Thank you for this wonderful poem it’s magic
Love and warm stuff
I really love this one..beautifull Bill..they say love is blind..but it isnt blind to the beauty it brings..everything is living color instead of black and white..
*sigh* your writing shows perfectly all the beauty you have seen and when seen anew through love's eyes it is even more stunning then before. Wonderful writing...I love the whole feel of this poem. Romance is an incredibly big part of your writing and you do it so very well. **big hugs**
Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.
