Fluttering

~*Marge Tindal*~

I have worn soft flutter on warm winds of Spring
Set my flight to distant winging
across a season in full swing of Peonies in bloom~

Caught a driving drizzle into Summer - bummer
Resting on the branches of a Laurel
as my wingless surmise caught me in total surprise~

Drifted beyond the whispered call of Fall
to the place that gathers the Crayola of me
wrapped in silk cocoon of kaleidoscopic threading~

Deeply hibernating through the Winter chilling
I pause for the metamorphosis of my spirit to take wing
lifting me to the place that awaits my coming~

Full-circle of the Avalon hills
where change is just a flutter away~

~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~

Purely a magical, mystical wonder of enchantment! Hugs, Ellie

I love this one, Marge. *S* From the giggles that "Caught a driving drizzle into Summer - bummer" gave me... to the gentle hope that stirs in the last 4 lines... every word is a treasure. *S*
