Hey Guys!I know i've been away for awhile but I have so many things going on.I'm in a new relationship and have a new job.Its great to be back here though. :-)This poem is for Heather, who has shown me that through strength, courage, hope and love a person can accomplish anything.

Crying in the night, phone ringing in the darkness
I reach out for someone and I find you and your friendship that is strong and true
Even though you are older than I, we connect in so many ways
It is with you that I like to spend my days
You pick me up when I am down, you make me smile when I frown
You came into my life when I had given up hope
I need you more than I think you know
I sincerely hope that we continue to grow

Laura, this most be best friend week. Several poems here that relate to the great treasure of friends. I think that is a strength that woman have. The ability to share and bare the hearts. I posted "Sister of the Heart" for my best friend just the other day. Cheryl

Laura, Having a best friend is a blessing no matter how old we get. I just got off the phone with mine, and though I have the flu, she made me smile. Well done. Chris
